Atlas Civils addresses the housing crisis with innovative and cost-effective container homes. South Africa faces a significant housing deficit, creating a strong demand for affordable and rapidly deployable housing solutions. Our R1 million investment will support the development of two pilot housing projects in partnership with local municipalities, each showcasing different container home designs (e.g., single-family units, multi-unit complexes) and sustainable features like solar panels, rainwater harvesting systems, and greywater recycling. These projects will serve as models for larger-scale developments, demonstrating the viability and scalability of container housing as a solution to the housing deficit, attracting further investment and partnerships with government agencies and NGOs. We project a 10% return on investment within the first three years of operation, primarily through rental income and potential government subsidies.
